Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) The transitional D.P.T. program is designed for practicing physical therapists already holding a bachelors or masters degree who wish to enhance their skills and professional status. The length of each student's plan of study depends upon their current level of education, experience, and skills as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association's "Normative Model of Physical Therapist Professional Education, Version 2000" and an evaluation using an extensive portfolio. All curriculum plans of study include pharmacology, radiology, evidence-based practice, wellness, and gender healthcare. Programs are also available for non-U.S. trained physical therapists seeking the D.P.T. or initial licensure. |
