The objective of the Cosmetology Course is to educate the student in required subjects for the State of Pennsylvania Exam. This is a basic Cosmetology Course of 1250 clock hours which takes approximately 10 or 15 months of full-time attendance to complete. The student is tested for related cognitive and manipulative skills. Current trends and methods for salon employment are also included. Upon completion of the course a diploma is given. A Cosmetology license is granted from the State of Pennsylvania upon successful passing of the State Board Exam and payment of all fees. After all the requirements are met you will be qualified to enter many areas of employment in the field of Cosmetology including Salon stylist, Hair Colorist, Permanent Wave Technician, Facial Makeup Artist, Nail Technician and/or Beauty Industry Rep.
