Take your Massage Therapy diploma to the next level! With the Advanced Massage Therapy program, you can build upon your existing knowledge and skills and put greater focus on specific massage skills for common physical conditions treated by Massage Therapists. You will continue to build on your treatment and assessment skills. In addition, you will also learn about anatomy, physiology and remedial exercise. Other topics include nutrition and metabolism, business and law, as well as ethics and communications. You'll gain practical experience in the onsite clinic during an internship as well as field experience during the clinic externship. By the end of the program you will be able to register with the Alberta Association of Massage Therapists and Holistic Practitioners, the Alberta Registered Massage Therapists Society and the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. |
