If you love working with children, this is the program for you! The Early Childhood Education Program prepares you to work effectively with children up to 12 years of age by providing you a practical approach to child care learning. Not only will you learn how to design programming and educational activities for children but you will also learn valuable skills in team building and family systems.
Courses in the Early Childhood Education program include Safety in the Work Place, Child Development and Building Relationships with a Child. In addition to course work, you will participate in two work terms to gain first-hand experience in the workplace. After graduation, you may go on to work in preschools, day care centers, home child care and other child care settings. |
