Accreditation

Since 1980, Canadian Tourism College has been a leader in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality education in British Columbia. Studying with the leader provides you with an important advantage when seeking employment. The quality of education you receive at Canadian Tourism College is recognized throughout the industry.

Canadian Tourism College was the first tourism college to earn accreditation with the Private Post Secondary Education Commission of the Province of British Columbia in 1995, now known as the Private Careers Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA).

Through the process, the institution and its programs are evaluated and recognized for quality assurance and, if successful, the institution is awarded an accreditation certificate valid for five years. As a result, students can be confident that an institution and its educational programs meet criteria and standards established by the Commission. Canadian Tourism College was the first private college to earn CITC Level 1 endorsement for the Travel and Tourism Diploma Program in 1987 and has proudly offered the CITC Level II endorsement since 1995. CITC has changed their program endorsement process and our Travel & Tourism Level I Diploma now has a 2 Star designation and the Travel & Tourism Advanced Level II Diploma has a 4 Star designation.
