The Canadian Tourism College online training is a completely internet delivered travel education program that allows you to study at your convenience.

The subject content is dictated by the travel industry and designed for two types of learners. The entry level individual would do very well by enrolling in all 15 courses to graduate with a Travel Agent Certificate.

Travel Professionals that are employed in the industry would be interested in individual courses to expand their skill sets in specific areas like the cruise market, selling vacation packages and tours and small group tour leadership for example.

Each web-based course is created by experts to provide you with the knowledge and/or skills necessary to begin and succeed in the exciting world of travel.

Students are introduced to the travel industry with comprehensive training in fares and tickets, travel reservations, leisure travel and the computer reservation system SABRE. Graduates who choose to take all 15 courses and complete them successfully will earn the Travel Agent Certificate of Completion from CTC.

Canadian Tourism College was the first tourism college to earn accreditation with the Private Post Secondary Education Commission of the Province of British Columbia in 1995, now known as the Private Careers Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA).

Through the process, the institution and its programs are evaluated and recognized for quality assurance and, if successful, the institution is awarded an accreditation certificate valid for five years. As a result, students can be confident that an institution and its educational programs meet criteria and standards established by the Commission. Canadian Tourism College was the first private college to earn CITC Level 1 endorsement for the Travel and Tourism Diploma Program in 1987 and has proudly offered the CITC Level II endorsement since 1995. CITC has changed their program endorsement process and our Travel & Tourism Level I Diploma now has a 2 Star designation and the Travel & Tourism Advanced Level II Diploma has a 4 Star designation.
