The Medical Office Technology degree training classes provide the education necessary for an entry-level career in medical office support in computerized offices. The certification program provides courses that emphasize hands-on experience with currently popular software programs as well as front-office medical and business applications. Students will develop traits employers seek such as the ability to assume responsibility, make decisions, and work independently.

Graduates may pursue career opportunities in business, industry, or government as:

• Medical administrative assistants
• Medical or executive secretaries
• Medical office managers

Career Technical College is nationally accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.

The Medical Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).

The Surgical Technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon recommendation of the Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology (ARC-ST).

The Radiography Technology program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

The Respiratory Therapy program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs  upon recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoArc).

CTC Massage Therapy is licensed by the State of Louisiana Massage Therapy Board.

Career Technical College is a National Certified Testing Site for the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
