PSF 3551 INTEGRATED THEORIES OF CRIME (3 credits). Explores the basic questions concerning human nature, human behavior, crime and criminality from the perspectives of sociological, psychological and criminological theories. (SS) Prerequisite:PSF 2551.

PSF 4107 COURTROOM PSYCHOLOGY (3 credits). Uses psychological processes and concepts to investigate components of the American legal system. Discusses decision processes of police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, judges and juries. Also covers courtroom procedures, rules of evidence and relevant research. Prerequisites: CRM 3246, CRM 3406.

PSF 4551 PRINCIPLES OF INDIVIDUAL AND COMMUNITY ADVOCACY (3 credits). Explores the response to crime by law enforcement, the court system, social services and victim advocates. Primarily focuses on advocacy for individuals and the community. Examines domestic violence, crime prevention, delinquency, hate crimes and substance abuse in terms of best practices from the field. Prerequisite: CRM 4445 or PSF 3551.
