MS in Nursing - Health Systems Leadership

Gonzaga University's Master of Science in Nursing - Health Systems Leadership degree program was developed to accommodate the needs of working registered nurses. This degree specifically prepares nurses to assume administrative positions in inpatient, outpatient, community-based, and academic settings. Students gain knowledge and competency in financial and human capital management, as well as strategies for responding to the ethical and legal issues encountered in administrative roles. Featuring the same fully accredited content and expert faculty support available to students learning in the on-campus setting, the online MSN allows busy nursing professionals the flexibility to learn on their schedule. The convergence of technology and targeted curriculum make for a dynamic learning environment where students and faculty can conveniently collaborate. The program is grounded in the theme of Leadership in Nursing. Theory and research in nursing and related fields are integrated to provide a broad base for advanced nursing practice. Health Systems Leadership - 36 credits (360 clinical hours). Campus visits: no campus visits during 500 level course work and one on campus visit during 600 level course work.
