Community Services Workers provide many types of assistance to people in the community, from determining eligibility for social assistance and health programs and counseling on child care to helping clients with physical and mental problems and those involved in drug and substance abuse. Students are prepared to write certificate exams for: - First Aid and CPR - Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - A.S.I.S.T. (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) Herzing College offers a one-year diploma program that includes a two-month internship to gain work experience.
