The Financial Services Representative program covers many areas. Working directly with clients there are varied services and products that you will be responsible for. Employers in banks, insurance companies, investment firms and brokerage houses do look for the same skill sets. As a Financial Services Representative (FSR), your focus will be to provide the right solutions – plans that meet the many financial needs of both established and new customers – by opening new accounts, offering credit and basic investment counseling, and promoting all financial products and services. Herzing College has partnered with the Institute of Canadian Bankers and offers a one-year diploma program that includes a two-month internship to gain work experience. This program prepares students to write the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) certification exam to allow them to sell Mutual Funds. Our Career Services Department will assist you in your search for both your Internship and full-time employment. |
