This Program provides an overview of clinical office principals, practices, and operations with focus on developing clinical office assistant skills. Areas of study include medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, clinical procedures, clinical office procedures, computer applications such as spreadsheets, presentations, databases and word processing, as well as clinical office scheduling and billing software. This program includes Guest Speakers and students go on a “backstage tour” of St. Michael’s Hospital and the Queen Street Mental Health Facility. Herzing College offers a 10-month diploma program that includes a 6 week internship to gain work experience. Our Career Services Department will assist you in your search for both your Internship and full-time employment. |
