This program prepares students to address critical issues in mathematics education by developing analytical perspectives for research, engaging in reflective teaching, and deepening mathematical knowledge. Students will learn to conduct basic research on the learning and teaching of mathematics - how people at all ages learn mathematics and how teachers can facilitate that learning.
