AAS in Electrical Systems

Miller-Motte's Electrical Systems program is designed to provide hands on training to ensure the student is prepared with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a career as an electrician. Emphasis on electrical code principles and the ability to apply those principles in a varied environment should make the graduate capable of filling a variety of positions in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Students will learn how to install, connect, test and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, which include climate control, security, communications, etc.

The program provides the graduate with knowledge of the most up to date electrical wiring systems, tools, electrical components and installation procedures and practices. This prepares the student to gain employment in an entry-level position as an electrician.
