Artist Management and Live Performance

You will have the opportunity to do hands-on projects contacting, marketing and booking artists and venues and creating marketing and promotional strategies designed to attract an audience to a show.

Current Trends

The industry is changing rapidly. Many people today are more likely to download digital music than buy a CD. This course discusses the cutting edge methods used to research, market, produce and promote music in today's music marketplace. 

Audio Production

Students create projects on ProTools professional recording software for demos or for use in multi-media productions. Each student works at individual digital audio workstations on an iMac G5 and a Korg Triton LE keyboard.
