The NETTTS Straight Truck Training Program will teach you all the skills you will need to become a licensed heavy straight truck operator. You will learn how to handle a professional driver's trip responsibilities.
Your training will include classroom instruction in:
- CDL General Knowledge / Combination Vehicles
- Brake Systems / CDL Air Brake Knowledge
- CDL Hazardous Material
- Vehicle Inspections (Circle Check)
- Uncoupling / Coupling
- Straight Backing
- Alley Dock Backing
- Parallel Parking
- Highway / City Driving
Plus, you will have on-the-road, hands-on training in:
- Pre-trip Practice
- Straight Line Backing
- Alley Dock Backing
- Parallel Parking
- CDL Test Practice
- Road Driving
- CDL State Test
Your training will help prepare you to take the written and road test for your state's Commercial Driver License Class B. When you graduate from the Straight Truck Training Program, we will be your sponsor for the TEST. |
