Business Administration Management

Whether you’re an entrepreneur or are interested in managing an existing business, you will need practical and hands-on skills to enter the field. Our Business Administration Management Diploma Program prepares you for a successful career in business. The program, which is 35-weeks, introduces students to sales and marketing, communications and administrative duties. A variety of marketing courses cover specialized techniques, while students also learn customer service and interpersonal skills. Students will also learn administrative duties, computer skills, computerized accounting, accounting fundamentals and more. A five-week practicum and subsequent job search analysis prepares graduates to enter the business world as new business owners or entry-level business managers. There are additional job opportunities in the following positions: office coordinator, administrative assistant or manager, marketing assistant, inventory controller and accounting/bookkeeping assistant.

Students will gain a better understanding of themselves through an exploration of their personal attributes, transferable skills and learning styles. This course will introduce techniques for time, conflict, and stress management and develop interpersonal communication skills. Fundamental study and motivation skills will be covered, preparing students to excel in their program of choice. Students will also prepare a professional resume and learn how to write effective cover letters.
