Communication studies prepare students for a variety of career opportunities including organizational leadership, human resources, and public relations. Courses involve both theory and practice so that students develop knowledge about communication and skills for communicating effectively. In addition, students may develop areas of specialization for which they receive certificates including conflict management, human resources, criminal justice, public relations, practical psychology, or high performance management. A required 128-credit hours are required to earn the Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree. The degree is offered in either online or in classroom learning formats for either 5- or 8-week accelerated terms. |
