The Culinary Arts Certificate Program prepares students for exciting careers in food service preparation. Students will be introduced to basic culinary arts concepts and skills and will gain valuable experience in the kitchen through hands-on learning. Through a combination of classroom and hands-on courses, students will gain an essential foundation in food production methods, cost control, nutrition, sanitation and food marketing. Laboratory classes will expose students to the arts of baking, cooking, catering and working as a personal chef. |
