Criminal Justice

If you are interested in furthering your education with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, consider Sanford-Brown College - Fenton (SBC). The Criminal Justice program's training includes coursework in constitutional law, criminal procedure, homeland security, and forensic science in criminal justice. The curriculum can provide students with theoretical ideas regarding criminal activity and the criminal justice system. Students can learn the skills needed to pursue a new career in criminal justice or enhance a current career in the field. Day and evening classes are available.

Students in the Criminal Justice degree program should be aware that additional education may be required for certain employment positions, and that agencies and institutions that accept our students for externship placements and potential employers may conduct a criminal and/or personal background check. Some agencies and employers may require candidates to submit a drug test. Students with criminal records that include felonies or misdemeanors (including those that are drug-related) or personal background issues such as bankruptcy might not be accepted by these agencies for internship or employment placement following completion of the Criminal Justice degree program.
