You can gain the knowledge and skills required to pursue a pilot career of your choice: General aviation, Aerial photography, Flight instruction, corporate aviation, regional or major airline industry.
Spartan's flight program is uniquely designed for optimum utilization of flight hours towards program completion. License and ratings included in the Spartan Associate of Applied Science Professional Pilot program are Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Commercial Pilot License, Certified Flight Instructor and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument rating. After completion of this program, graduates can enroll in Spartan’s Bachelor of Science Aviation Management program and complete their bachelor’s degree in as little as 17 months.
Spartan's flight school is located on a tower-controlled airport with dual runways. The flight school also maintains a fleet of approximately fifty aircraft including Cessna 152s, 172s, and 172 RGs for advanced complex pilot training and Piper Seminoles for multi-engine pilot training. Three Frasca flight training simulators are used in flight training as well.
