If you have an aptitude for computers, imagine having the freedom to design the computer systems for an entire organization. As a graduate of the Computer Network Administration program, you will learn to design, install and support computer systems for corporations, government agencies, healthcare organizations and others entities.

This Associate of Occupational Science degree teaches you to evaluate system and network requirements to meet customer needs, maintain network hardware and software, analyze problems and coordinate network security.

Computer network administrators:

  • Are responsible for local-area networks (LAN), wide-area networks (WAN), intranets and Internet systems
  • Maintain network efficiency and ensure all components of the system work together
  • Troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for future system upgrades
  • Install and repair computer equipment for successful operation

As an official Microsoft IT Academy, the Sullivan College of Technology & Design will provide you with a comprehensive technical program, as well as web-assisted training in Microsoft products. Small class sizes and hands-on training on equipment and software that is the industry standard will prepare you for a successful career, and you’ll enjoy lifetime review privileges in your program. Financial assistance is also available.

Accreditation

We want our students to receive superior training that's recognized for its quality by both the academic world and our students' future employers. That's why we demand that our school and our individual programs continually meet the high educational standards required for accreditation, approval or licensing from the most important national and state organizations.

You can count on excellence from the Sullivan College of Technology & Design as:

  • We have been accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools - a nationally recognized accrediting agency endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education - to award certificates, diplomas, associate degrees and bachelor's degrees.
  • We are also licensed to offer associate and bachelor’s degrees by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education
  • We are regulated by the Indiana Commission on Proprietary Education
  • In 2007, and now in 2008, we were named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal award a school can achieve for its commitment to community service as an instructional strategy and civic engagement

These accreditations, approvals and honors demonstrate that we are providing education that meets both our students and the industry’s needs.
