The Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Information Technology will provide students with the computer and business skills and knowledge needed to gain entry-level positions as network administrators, systems administrators, database administrators, programmers, or software developers. Through lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and other activities, students will learn networking, software development, databases, security, and maintenance, as well as how information technology functions within a business.
In addition, students will complete courses in communications, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences, which are designed to develop essential academic skills for enhanced and continued learning. |
