Accreditation is a process by which a school's curricula and operations are examined by a third-party accrediting commission to determine if the school meets applicable standards set by the accrediting commission. Court Reporting Institute Dallas and Court Reporting Institute Houston are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diploma and associate's degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
