Building Maintenance Mechanic

You can become a maintenance person for buildings of all sizes and purposes, right from hospitals to apartments. You just need to take the Building Maintenance Mechanic program at Vatterott College.

You will take a detailed look at refrigeration, heating, plumbing, wiring, and carpentry. You will learn about electrical theory as it relates to HVAC systems. You can develop expertise with refrigeration cycles, domestic heating systems, and plumbing and pipefitting practices. You will learn how to perform basic carpentry with the correct tools and materials. The program will also show you how to troubleshoot and repair wiring problems.
