An animation degree from Westwood will prepare you for a variety of career paths, including television, film, online and computer gaming.
In a setting modeled after the workplace, working professionals will draw on their own experience and insights to mentor you for career success from your first day on the job.
Approximately 70 percent of your core contact hours will be delivered via hands-on lab training in coursework ranging from 3D modeling and advanced digital effects to character development and digital image editing - all geared to qualifying you for jobs in fields such as 3D animation, desktop publishing and web or flash design.
Using software such as 3D Max, Maya and the full Adobe suite, you'll create animations from conception to final production and graduate with a final student portfolio to showcase your skills to potential employers.
